Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- Igor Krasnov, director of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, laid a wreath at the Liberation Tower on Monday.

Present there were Yun Kwang Won, vice-director of the Central Public Prosecutors Office of the DPRK, and Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK.

The guard of honour of the Korean People's Army lined up at the tower.

The national anthems of the Russian Federation and the DPRK were played.

A wreath in the name of the director of the Supreme Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation was placed at the tower amid the playing of wreath-laying music.

The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the fallen fighters of the Soviet Army who dedicated their precious lives to the sacred war for Korea's liberation with noble internationalism. Then they looked round the tower. -0-
