Anniversary of Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's Visit to Vietnam Marked

Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- A round-table talk took place at a museum in Lang Son Province of Vietnam on March 10 to mark the sixth anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's historic official goodwill visit to Vietnam.

Attending it were personages of the government, organizations and institutions in Vietnam, including the Foreign Ministry, the Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association and the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, and the DPRK ambassador to Vietnam and members of his embassy.

The participants laid a floral basket before the photo of President Kim Il Sung meeting with President Ho Chi Minh in the section arranged for displaying the historic mementoes related with the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un's visit to Vietnam and paid tribute. Then they went round the section.

Speeches were made at the round-table talk.

Personages of the Foreign Ministry and the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee of Vietnam noted that the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and the DPRK were provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung, saying that Comrade Kim Jong Un's official goodwill visit to Vietnam in 2019, in particular, served as an occasion in developing the relations between the two parties and the two countries onto a new high stage.

They sincerely hoped that the Korean people under the wise guidance of Comrade Kim Jong Un would achieve bigger successes with their high resolution and will this year marking the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation. -0-
