Greetings to DPRK Premier from Vietnamese PM

Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Pham Minh Chinh, prime minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on Jan. 22 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The prime minister in the message said that the traditional relations of friendship between the two countries have steadily developed over the past 75 years.

He stressed that the Vietnamese party, government and people attach great importance to the feelings of traditional friendship between the two parties and two countries cultivated by President Ho Chi Minh, President Kim Il Sung and leaders of several generations and peoples of the two countries with much care and regard it as a precious treasure to be carried forward, defended and displayed by both sides.

Noting that he is ready to actively promote the cooperation between the two countries for the interests of the peoples of the two countries and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the rest of the world, he wished the fraternal government and people of the DPRK steady many successes in the work to develop the social economy and improve the people's living standards including the goals for the 2021-2025 five-year economic development. -0-
