Vietnamese Embassy Here Hosts Reception
Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- The Vietnamese embassy in Pyongyang hosted a reception on Jan. 31 to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Present there on invitation were Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK, An Hyon Min, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials concerned.
Ambassador Le Ba Vinh and staff members of the Vietnamese embassy were on hand.
The ambassador made a speech at the reception.
He said that the traditional relations of friendship, provided by the respected President Ho Chi Minh and the great President
He extended sincere thanks to the party, government and people of the DPRK rendering precious support and encouragement to the Vietnamese people in their cause for defending and developing the country.
He expressed firm belief that the Korean people would register bigger successes in prosperous socialist construction under the wise guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by the respected Comrade
Choe Son Hui made a speech.
She said that the DPRK-Vietnam friendly and cooperative relations provided by the preceding leaders have greeted a new phase of development under the deep care of the top leaders of the two countries.
It is the steadfast stand of the WPK and the DPRK government to always value the tradition of friendship with Vietnam with socialism as its core and expand and develop it in an all-round way and thus contribute to the cause of socialist construction in the two countries and the struggle of the world people aspiring after independence and justice, she stressed.
She wished the Vietnamese people success in their struggle to build a prosperous and civilized socialist state by successfully implementing the decisions of the 13th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam under the leadership of the party. -0-
