Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- At the invitation of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, a delegation of the United Russia Party headed by President Dmitri Medvedev arrived here on October 9 to visit the DPRK and to take part in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK.

The flags of the DPRK and the Russian Federation were fluttering at the flagstaffs of Pyongyang International Airport and the guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up at the apron before the terminal.

It was warmly greeted by Im Chon Il, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK.

A woman worker presented a bouquet to Dmitri Medvedev. -0-
