One day in January 2018, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Pharmaceutical Factory.

While going round its various parts, he stopped before tablet-compressing machine No. 1 at the drug shop, from which tablets were dropping into containers.

Watching them carefully, he told officials that big tablets might be broken to pieces, so their effectiveness would be different according to the size.

In fact, tablets were rarely broken as the height from the machine to containers was about one meter. The automatic adjustment for the height of containers could prevent such phenomenon at once, but officials of the factory were only keen on fulfilling the production plan, neglecting this problem.

The General Secretary said that the production line of the factory should be well designed to ensure hygienic condition as required by standard technical processes related to the production of medicines, stressing it is needed to design a closed streamlined process well and arrange machines in keeping with it.

The officials were moved by the noble intention of the General Secretary being careful about the people's health over even a small tablet. -0-
