Pyongyang, July 1 (KCNA) -- Ryanggang Province in the DPRK completed the Amnok River embankment projects covering tens of kilometers.
While directing efforts to increasing the proportion of mechanization in the project, the province took measures to directly transport building materials to the spots in connection with the railway transport sector.
Kim Hyong Gwon County completed the project before others and Kim Jong Suk, Samsu and Paegam counties devoted their all to protecting their regions from floods.
The provincial-level units involved in the project met the demands for construction, including reinforcing embankments and building retaining walls, while giving precedence to the construction of structures.
Officials in the designing and supervising sectors devoted themselves to ensuring the quality of the projects. -0-
