Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- The ranks of winners of the Model Agricultural Worker Honor Prize are increasing in the DPRK.

The honor prize, instituted in 1989, is awarded every year to the agricultural workers who have worked in the agricultural sector for a long time and supported the Workers' Party of Korea and the country with increased grain production.

This year, more than one hundred agricultural workers were awarded the honor prize.

Among them are ordinary farmers who reap a good harvest in their fields every year with their sincere efforts and those who contribute to upholding the Party's agricultural policy with science and technology.

And agricultural workers who have contributed to the agricultural development of the country were awarded the honor prize. -0-
