Pyongyang, June 15 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province in the DPRK is making sustained efforts to satisfactorily supply the oil raw materials needed for putting the production of regional-industry factories on a normal basis.

The province saw to it that the cities and counties organized technical courses on the cultivation of high-yielding oil crops and made them exchange and share experience and technologies gained from the experimental cultivation and expand the cultivation area of oil crops every year.

At the same time, the province has pushed ahead with the replacement of existing Evodia daniellii Benn with high-yielding ones to provide conditions for harvesting more oil fruit.

It has also planted high-yielding oil crops in waste lands and cultivated crops necessary for the production of edible oil. -0-
