80th Founding Anniversary of WPK Observed in Different Countries
Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- A book, photo and art piece exhibition took place in China and seminars, friendly meetings, round-table talks, lectures, film shows and other celebrations in Bangladesh, Iran, Cambodia, Kuwait, Thailand, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Serbia, Guinea, Nigeria, DR Congo, Tanzania, Tunisia, Brazil, Venezuela and Peru on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
Present there were personages of political parties, governments, organizations and institutions in those countries and members of organizations for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people.
Screened at the film shows were films dealing with the glorious journey of the ever-victorious WPK and videos showing the proud development of the DPRK.
At the events speeches were made by a vice-chairperson of the Commission for International Relations of the People's Party of Cambodia, the chairman of the Kuwait-DPRK Friendship Association, the chairman and vice-chairpersons of the Socialist Party of Romania, the general secretary of the Communist Party of Italy, the general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy, the chairman of the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association, a vice-chairperson of the Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, the secretary general of the Tanzanian National Coordinating Committee of the Juche Idea Study Groups and figures of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran, the Bangladesh Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the New Yugoslav Communist Party and the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and personages of political parties and organizations in Brazil.
