Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- An opening ceremony of the "Contest of Skilled Workers with Different Jobs in Various Sectors of National Economy-2024" took place at the Kangso District Cultural Hall of Nampho Municipality, the DPRK on May 28.

Present there were Jin Kum Song, minister of Labour, officials concerned, officials and working people of industrial establishments in Kangso District and participants in the contest.

A speech was made at the ceremony.

The contest brought together more than 200 skilled workers selected from the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry and other ministries, national agencies and Pyongyang municipal and provincial people's committee.

It will be held, divided into welding, plastering, lathing, pipe-making and sewing. -0-
