Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- The projects conducive to developing the regional economy and improving the people's living standard are being concluded one after another in different parts of the DPRK.

The provincial air club, the branch tilery of the Hamhung City Cement Factory, Hamhung Stadium and many other projects were remodeled and gymnasium and lodging quarters for sportspersons were built in South Hamgyong Province. The province built huge production buildings and installed a hundred and tens of modern machinery and equipment of dozens of kinds in order to update the Hamhung Trailing Farm Machine Factory.

North Phyongan Province finished the construction of thousands of flats for the employees of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm and dozens of public buildings.

The province built dozens of goat farms and branch farms, remodeled over 400 dairy production rooms and newly built pyroligneous acid production bases, slaked lime production bases and greenhouses for raising rice seedlings in Kwaksan and Sonchon counties and other places.

Pedigree farms for paddy-field fish breeding were built in many areas including Sinuiju and Kusong cities, and more than 60 educational units were built and remodeled to strengthen the educational foundations of the regions.

South Hwanghae Province also remodeled the Haeju-Jaeryong Road, built the Hwangnam Steel Works, newly built or reconstructed the Suyangsan General Foodstuff Factory and the Haeju Agricultural Goods Production Station and completed many projects including the modernization of Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories in more than 10 counties.

North Hwanghae Province built the hostel of the Sariwon Textile Mill and the Sariwon Riding Club and reconstructed the building of the provincial committee of science and technology.

Chongjin Restaurant built in North Hamgyong Province started service and the Chongjin Water Park was built.

In South Phyongan Province, dozens of projects including the Sunchon Building Materials Factory were completed and the Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories and raw materials base stations were rebuilt in cities and counties. -0-
