Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- The 12th National Exhibition of University Scientific Research Successes took place at Kim Chaek University of Technology in the DPRK from November 4 to 7.

Showcased at the exhibition were more than 2 400 pieces of scientific research made by over 120 universities across the country.

The proposals made by Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Phyongbuk University of Technology, Phyongsong University of Medicine, Wonsan Commercial Service College, Sinuiju University of Technology and Chongjin University of Technology drew the attention of participants as they can make substantial contributions to solving the scientific and technological problems arising in putting the production of major sectors of the national economy on a normal footing and readjusting and reinforcing them, realizing the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on regional development and consolidating the material and technical foundations of education.

Citations were awarded to the units and participants who were highly appreciated at the exhibition. -0-
