Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Technological innovations to reduce the loss of electricity in transmission, ensure the safety of electricity supply and make effective use of the produced electricity are being made as a mass campaign in the DPRK.

This year, hundreds of technical innovations conducive to saving electricity have been made across the country and tens of thousands of kWs of electricity reserves created.

In contact with the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea made sure that the work to make effective use of electricity is being done on a nationwide scale.

The provincial power transmission and distribution stations put the work for saving electricity on a high scientific basis, thus providing lots of electricity reserves.

The Pyongyang Electric Cable General Factory 326, the Sunchon Cement Complex and other industrial establishments stepped up the technical upgrading of their production lines by dint of their scientific and technological forces, thus creating lots of electricity reserves.

Working people across the country are putting spurs to the creation of electricity reserves while taking measures to save even a W of electricity and make more effective use. -0-
