Pyongyang, November 8 (KCNA) -- The 18th national symposium on the experience of health workers took place at the Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory on November 6 and 7.

Present at the symposium were Jong Mu Rim, minister of Public Health, officials concerned and exemplary health workers. It heard the successes and experience gained by health workers who are displaying a high sense of responsibility in the medical service and researches into medical science.

Speakers said that they resuscitated with their boundless love and sincerity the patients suffering from incurable diseases and took warm care of war veterans, disabled soldiers and children, the future of the country.

The symposium heard valuable treatment experience including establishing advanced operation methods of Korean style in the spinal surgical sector and improving Koryo medical diagnosis and treatment.

At the end of the symposium the participants visited the Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory. -0-
