Mass Movement Brisk among Women's Union Members

True to the noble intention of the peerlessly great man, the officials and members of the women's union across the country have made tangible achievements for the country, people and posterity by conducting the socialist patriotic movement and the revolutionary mass movement in the worksites of the state prosperity for the past four years.
Since the Seventh Congress of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, more than 400 000 women have volunteered to work at honorable posts for socialist construction.
Various mass movements for the economic development of the country have been vigorously conducted as the work of the women's union.
Women in Phyongsong City, Kwaksan County, Kangso District and Hanggu District have produced a lot of cocoons every year by directing efforts to creating mulberry fields and improving soil fertility.
In hearty response to the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on obtaining meat from grass, members of the women's union in South Hwanghae Province took the lead in the rabbit-raising movement.
The members of the women's union of the Tukjang Area Coal-mining Complex and the Chonnae Area Coal-mining Complex encouraged the workers to implement the Party's decision through their vigorous motivation activities, while finding out and doing good things conducive to increasing coal production.
The women's union members in Songchon and Pukchang counties and Sunchon and Anju cities conveyed goods for supply service to builders at construction sites while conducting public service for them.
The women's union officials and members are contributing to the country's economy through the movement for collecting materials lying idle and finding work which needs to be done on the road of prosperity of the country. Their deeds are encouraging the whole people to work steady miracles. -0-
