Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, and other senior Party, government and military officials, officials of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, the Cabinet and armed forces organs visited the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri on August 15, the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
The bereaved families of martyrs visited the cemetery together.
The guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up at the cemetery.
Wreaths in the names of the Central Committee of the WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the SPA of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK were laid before the monument to the cemetery.
The participants paid silent tribute to the martyrs who pioneered the sacred Korean revolution at the cost of their blood with boundless loyalty to the Party and the leader and performed undying feats in the struggle for the victorious advance of the revolutionary cause of Juche.
Then the participants laid bouquets and flowers before tombstones of the martyrs and paid high tribute to them. -0-
