Pyongyang, August 15 (KCNA) -- Dozens of young people in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK volunteered to work in major sectors of socialist construction.

Young people in the cities of Sariwon and Songrim and in the county of Sinphyong volunteered for city and county construction brigades.

Members of the youth league in the counties of Sohung, Phyongsan and Sangwon joined the volunteer ranks with the enthusiasm for becoming creators of miracles and feats in regional and rural construction.

Young people in Yonthan and Koksan counties volunteered to work at raw materials bases with the desire to uphold the Party's grand plan with proud fruition.

Officials concerned, youth league officials, youth and students were present at the congratulatory meeting on August 13.

At the meeting, volunteer certificates were awarded to the volunteers and congratulatory speech and other speeches were made.
