Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- There is a holiday camp for scientists and technicians on the shore of picturesque Lake Yonphung in the DPRK.

The Yonphung Scientists Holiday Camp boasting of its wonderful architectural beauty has a peculiar corridor and matches well with natural scenery. It has all conditions necessary for the life of vacationers.

Its vacationers enjoy playing tennis, badminton and other sports games in the multi-purpose outdoor playground and present good scientific ideas and share opinions on them with each other at consultative room. Such scenes add to the landscape of the camp, a palace for scientists.

The holiday camp was built in the best place under the warm loving care of the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who visited Lake Yonphung just after his field guidance at the State Academy of Sciences to confirm the site for the camp.

One day in May 2014, the General Secretary inspected the holiday camp under construction, stressing that all its structures and facilities should be built at the highest quality level as befitting the features of a highly civilized socialist nation.

He indicated the orientation and ways for wonderfully building the holiday camp, including the erection of peculiar gatepost, the construction of a railway station and the arrangement of multi-purpose sports facilities and welfare service facilities.
