Dancing Party of Schoolchildren Held to Celebrate 80th Founding Anniversary of KCU

Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- A dancing party of schoolchildren was held in the front yard of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on June 5 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Children's Union.

The venue of the dancing party was overflowing with deep emotion and joy of schoolchildren significantly celebrating the founding anniversary of the KCU.

Among the spectators were Ju Chang Il, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Paek Un Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league, participants in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the KCU and members of the delegation of Korean schoolchildren in Japan.

When the song "We Are the Happiest in the World" resounded, the dancing party began.

The schoolchildren danced to the tune of the songs "Let's Sing of the Loving Care of the Marshal" and "I Am a Member of the Korean Children's Union".

They were filled with joy of bringing their hope and talents into full bloom under the loving care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The bold spirit of the new generation growing up to be reserves of socialist construction was displayed in songs such as "Our Classmates".

The dancing party ended with the song "Let Us Be Always Ready for Socialist Country". -0-
