Do-good-thing Movement Brisk at Women's Union Organizations

Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- Women's union organizations at all levels in the DPRK are conducting the do-good-thing movement.

Women's union organizations in Jangyon County of South Hwanghae Province and Songnim City of North Hwanghae Province have produced a large amount of organic fertilizer through a socialist emulation drive to contribute to improving the fertility of soil at farms in their regions.

Those in South Hamgyong Province rendered labor assistance to workers at the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex while conducting frontline-style motivation activities.

Women's union officials and members in North and South Phyongan provinces gave aid materials to coal miners at the Tukjang Youth Coal Mine of the Tukjang Area Coal-mining Complex and the Ryongdung Coal Mine of the Kujang Area Coal-mining Complex to boost their enthusiasm for struggle.

The Kaesong municipal women's union committee has bred many rabbits through the introduction of scientific rearing methods to be supplied to war veterans and service personnel.
