Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to So Ok Sang living in Neighbourhood Unit No. 16, Unchong-ri, Hyesan City, Ryanggang Province, on her 100th birthday.

So Ok Sang, who received a birthday spread amid congratulations by officials of the Hyesan City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and villagers, expressed deep gratitude to Kim Jong Un for showing great loving care for an ordinary old woman living in the northern tip of the country.

She had been subjected to all sorts of maltreatment and contempt while undergoing sorrow as a stateless nation before national liberation. She could lead a worthwhile life as a master of the country only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.

Out of a resolve to repay the benevolence of the motherly Party and the state, she did well her job for decades. She has done good things for the sake of the country even after becoming a pensioner. -0-
