Graduating Class Students in Pyongyang Volunteer for Forefront Border Military Posts

Pyongyang, March 13 (KCNA) -- The graduating class students of senior middle schools in Pyongyang have volunteered for military service at the frontline border posts.

A meeting to cheer for them was held at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-Air Theatre on March 12.

A congratulatory speech was made at the meeting.

The speaker expressed expectation and conviction that the volunteers, who took their first step to repay in practice on the road of defending the country in military uniform of the revolution, would always cherish the requests of their alma maters and villagers and glorify every moment of military service with loyalty and feats.

The volunteers expressed their resolve to defend the security of the motherland and the people with arms as befitting the new generation of Juche Korea who grew up under the care of the Workers' Party of Korea, bearing in mind the truth that the life devoted to defending the country is the most valuable patriotic one.

DPRK Hero Ho Ryong, a lecturer of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, handed over the national flag of the DPRK to volunteers. -0-
