Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- Industrial establishments in the DPRK are launching the movement to create model lathes following the example of Lathe No. 26.
More than 60 units were awarded "Lathe No.26" Model Machine Prize (including twice and thrice ones) this year as they have increased production by directing efforts to the management of equipment and technical control.
Different units including the Taedonggang Battery Factory and the cutting workshop of the Songyo Knitwear Factory won the thrice "Lathe No. 26" Model Machine Prize as they have strictly established the climate of taking good care of equipment and machines.
The workers at the hot-rolled items finishing shop of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex and the Rason Youth Power Station are positively exploring and tapping internal reserves to fully equip themselves with spare parts, tools and jigs and steadily improve the technical performance of equipment, thus boosting production.
The Kaesong Towel Factory, the Kyongsong County Power Distribution Station, the Chongjin Bag Factory and other units were awarded "Lathe No.26" Model Machine Prize as they have scrupulously done the weekly and monthly work for maintaining machines just like the model "Lathe No.26". -0-
