New Houses Built in Kangnam County

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- The agricultural workers in Janggyo-ri, Kangnam County of Pyongyang Municipality have greeted again the ceremony for moving into new houses this year.

Peculiar dwelling houses built in the suburbs of the capital city are the happy places of agricultural workers provided by the great programme for the rural revolution in a new era.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on Sunday.

Present there were Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Man Song, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal Rural Economy Committee, and other officials of the Party and power organs and officials concerned in the city and the county, builders and agricultural workers.

Choe Hui Thae, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee, made a congratulatory speech, licenses for the use of the dwelling houses were handed over and resolution-taking speeches were made.

Then a congratulatory performance was given by the members of the mobile artistic motivation team of the county, and officials visited the owners of the new houses and shared joy with them as a cheerful dancing party was presented. -0-
