Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Pak Sung In, a woman of wartime merits living in Neighborhood Unit No. 14, Chonggye-dong No. 3, Hawsong District in Pyongyang to congratulate her on her 100th birthday.

Pak expressed her gratitude to Kim Jong Un, deeply moved by the birthday spread she received amid the congratulations of officials of the district committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Born into a poor family before the liberation of Korea, she experienced the deep sorrow of a stateless nation. She grew to be a woman revolutionary under the trust and loving care of the peerlessly great persons and devoted her sincerity to educating the children of revolutionary martyrs during the past Fatherland Liberation War.

She remained loyal to the Party and brought up her children well to be faithful to the motherland.

Kim Jong Un invited her to the national conferences of war veterans several times to glorify her life as the one of the victorious wartime generation.

Pak was honored with a watch bearing the august name of President Kim Il Sung and high-class state commendations. Even after becoming a pensioner, she devoted herself to aiding the People's Army and had the honor of attending the national conference of activists who displayed the beautiful traits of assisting the army.

She always requests her descendents to make more efforts to defend and glorify everything in the country, stressing that the Korean-style socialist system is the best in the world. -0-
