Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- New houses were built in Paekam County, Ryanggang Province of the DPRK.

The cosy houses built in Jungsan-ri and Yanggok-ri to suit the characteristics of the Paekmu Plateau are a precious fruition of the noble devoted service for the people rendered by the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea which is translating the long-cherished desire and ideal of the people into brilliant reality.

Present at the ceremony of moving into new houses were Ri Thae Il, chief secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and power organs in the county, builders and agricultural workers.

An address was made there and licenses for using houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.

When moving into new houses began, the laughter and songs of the agricultural workers resounded and cheerful dancing parties were given.

Officials visited the families of farmers moving into new houses to congratulate them and share joy with them. -0-
