New Houses Built in Rural Areas of DPRK

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- More modern villages have appeared at the Madu Farm in Unchon County, South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

New terraced, single-floored and low-storied dwellings for hundreds of families are spectacular with fruit trees and other trees of good species planted around villages.

Present at the celebration ceremony were Kim Chol Min, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in the county.

Jo Song Ho, vice-chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory address. Then licenses for the use of new houses were conveyed and speeches made.

Dancing parties were displayed at the new villages amid the moving into those new houses. -0-
