New Houses Built in Ryanggang Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- New houses have been built at Nongsadong and Samjang farms in Taehongdan County, Ryanggang Province of the DPRK, potato-producing areas at the foot of Mt Paektu. Those modern houses with better living conditions tell about the warm loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Celebration meetings took place on the spot.

Present there were Ri Thae Il, chief secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials and builders of the units which contributed to the construction, and agricultural workers in those areas.

Kim Chol Nam, chairman of the Ryanggang Provincial People's Committee, made congratulatory addresses at the meetings. Licenses for the use of new houses were conveyed and oath-taking speeches made.

A dancing party was given amid the play of cheerful peasants' music to sing of the benevolence of the WPK at the villages where new civilization and new life are blooming.

Officials and builders visited the new houses to share joy with their owners. -0-
