Farmers of Unsong Farm in DPRK Move into New Houses

Pyongyang, September 11 (KCNA) -- The Workers' Party of Korea's policy for rural construction unfolded a new scene of a modern socialist village at the Unsong Farm of Jonchon County, Jagang Province, the DPRK.

True to the Party's intention to step up the construction of an ideal society with warm love for the people, officials and builders of Jonchon County built cozy modern dwelling houses and public stables and created a peculiar landscaping in the gardens of the houses and around the village.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot. Present there were officials of Jagang Province and Jonchon County, builders and agricultural workers who will move into new houses.

Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory speech, and licenses for the use of houses were handed over and speeches made.

When the farmers began to move into their new houses, there was a cheerful dancing party in the village. Sincere voices extending thanks to the Central Committee of the great Party rang out from the houses.

The mobile artistic motivation team of the county gave a congratulatory performance. Amid the joyful laughter and singing, officials visited the farmers' new houses to exchange their impressions. The officials encouraged the owners to successfully conclude this significant year's farming so as to greet the Ninth Party Congress as the glorious one of victors. -0-
