Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- Modern high-rise apartment houses were newly built in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province, the DPRK.

Hundreds of dwelling houses, service amenities including shop and pharmacy, and resting places with flowers and turfs, in which the political character, modernity and cultural refinement were applied, have been built in Sinsong-dong commanding a bird's-eye view of the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area known as a tourist resort of national value.

The dwelling houses that have been built along with the new era of regional changes are a proud creation brought about by the noble outlook of the Workers' Party of Korea on the people which orients everything to the wellbeing of the people and spares nothing for them.

Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, and other officials and builders of the province and the city congratulated the owners of the new houses.

The fireworks were displayed, adding to the joy of the working people who are full of pleasure receiving new houses, and their laughter and singing were heard from the windows of new houses. -0-
