Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- Dozens of university graduates in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK volunteered for the revolutionary battle sites, mountainous schools and branch schools.
Graduates of Sinpho Kim Hyong Gwon University of Technology and Education and Hamhung University of Education expressed their will to become lecturers at the revolutionary battle sites in the areas of Mt Paektu and Sinhung and ex-servicemen graduates volunteered to do their jobs at mountainous schools in Pujon and Jangjin counties together with their families.
Graduates of Hamhung Choe Hui Suk Teachers Training College were determined to devote their youth wisdom and enthusiasm to upholding the Workers' Party of Korea's plan for building an educational power and a talent power.
Among them are a girl who has grown up learning to her heart's content at primary and middle schools for orphans and a "pedigree farm" for education of the rising generation, and sisters-graduates who want to become a teacher for the children of workers in Komdok.
Other graduates pledged to work at mountainous branch schools and schools in Pukchong, Yonggwang and Hochon counties.
Present at a congratulatory meeting held on April 23 were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, youth and students.
Officials, youth and students presented bouquets to the volunteers and gave them a pep talk. -0-
