University Graduates Volunteer for Worksites to Implement Party's Decisions

Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- University graduates in South Phyongan, South Hwanghae and Ryanggang provinces of the DPRK have responded to the call of the country and the era amid the growing patriotic enthusiasm of the young vanguard to usher in the era of a giant new transformation, true to the great fighting programme set forth at the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Graduates of Phyongsong University of Education and Phyongsong Teachers Training College are full of the enthusiasm to fulfill their responsibility and duty as educators at remote mountainous schools and branch schools in Kaechon City and Taehung and Yangdok counties.

Those of Haeju Kim Jong Thae University of Education and Haeju Jo Ok Hui Teachers Training College volunteered to work at revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu and schools in islet villages and mountainous areas.

Those of Hyesan Teachers Training College and Kim Jong Suk University of Education set it as their lifetime motto to work at schools in Samjiyon City and Kim Hyong Jik and Unhung counties.

Certificates of petition were awarded to the volunteers at the meetings attended by officials concerned, officials of the youth league and youth and students.

Speeches were made and art performances were given at the meetings.

Officials, youth and students encouraged the volunteers, giving bouquets to them. -0-
