Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- Young people in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK volunteered for major theaters.

Young people in Waudo and Taean districts and Ryonggang county asked the youth league organizations to send them to the raw material base stations and the Evodia daniellii forest stations.

Young people in Hanggu District and Onchon County volunteered to work at construction brigades with a resolve to turn the countryside into a socialist paradise.

Young people in Chollima and Kangso districts volunteered to work at the Chollima Steel Complex and other production sites.

A meeting took place at the Nampho Municipal Art Theatre on Sunday to congratulate the young people on their volunteering to the difficult and labor-consuming sectors of socialist construction.

Attending the meeting were officials concerned, officials of the youth league and youth and students. A certificate of petition was awarded to the volunteers and congratulatory speeches were made.

Officials, youth and students encouraged and saw off the volunteers leaving for the new revolutionary posts. -0-
