Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- Working people's organizations in Kaesong Municipality in the DPRK have conducted mass movement to contribute to strengthening the material foundation of agricultural production.

Youth league organizations of Koryo Songgyungwan University, the Kaesong Koryo Insam Processing Factory and the Kaephung Mine have collected a lot of materials to contribute to the manufacture of farm machines.

The municipal trade union committee and the municipal committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea have conducted the activities of farm machine repair support teams to ensure the full operation of farm machines and sent seed separator, maize threshing machine and other machines to the farms in the municipality.

Primary organizations at the Kaesong Municipal Koryo Medicine Production Management Bureau, the Songdo Foodstuff Factory and the Osan Taesong Insam Station worked out step-by-step plans for securing various agricultural implements according to the farming processes and carried them out substantially.

Women's union organizations and members in the municipality have devoted themselves to the manufacture of farm machines and implements. -0-
