Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Spring water resources can be found everywhere in the DPRK with picturesque mountains and clear water.

From olden times, the Korean ancestors called spring water gushing out from mountains the one for longevity.

With the era of the Workers' Party, a lot of spring water suited to the standard of health and longevity assessment have been discovered and served as drinking water and good resources of treatment for our people's health.

In the country, there are at least hundreds of springs. Among them are Adalsan Spring Water in Kangdong County of Pyongyang Municipality, Sindok Spring Water in Onchon County of Nampho Municipality and Masikryong Spring Water in Kangwon Province.

Ryongaksan, Hwaphogum and Kumgang spring water were registered as a natural monument of the state.

In particular, Ryongaksan Spring Water gushing out at the foot of Mt Ryongak in Wonro-ri, Mangyongdae District is famous as it has a good taste and various minerals and major ions beneficial to human health with great effect on the treatment of various kinds of diseases.

Thanks to the loving care of Chairman Kim Jong Il, the Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory was built at the foot of Mt Ryongak.

In September 2016, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the wonderfully remolded factory and said that there are a lot of water springs in different parts of the country and that spring water factories should be built with the Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory as a model.

A large number of spring water factories have been built across the country, true to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to supply the people with much more spring water. -0-
