Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ri Son Ae, a woman resident in Neighborhood Unit No. 33, Soryong-dong No. 2, Taedonggang District of Pyongyang Municipality, on her 100th birthday.

Officials of the Taedonggang District Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and residents of the neighborhood unit visited her family to congratulate the centenarian.

After receiving the birthday spread, Ri expressed her gratitude to Kim Jong Un.

The centenarian, who had to live in slavery since her childhood before the liberation of Korea, could lead a worthwhile life only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.

She had supported the Party and the country with increased grain production on the socialist farm fields for decades and brought up her children well. Even after becoming a pensioner, she has done good things helpful to the country. -0-
