Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- The DPRK women who are loved and respected as the flower of the country, society and family are greeting the 115th March 8 International Women's Day.

On this significant day, they are recollecting their dignified and proud days in which they have grown into a powerful force pushing one of the two wheels of the revolutionary chariot under the great politics of the peerlessly great men for respecting and attaching importance to women and thus recorded brilliant pages in the history of the country making a leap forward by dint of creation and construction.

President Kim Il Sung comprehended the role of women and provided an immortal programme to be served as guidelines for the strengthening and development of the Korean women's movement in each period and at every stage of the developing revolution.
