Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- New houses have been built in Sinchong-ri, Songgan County, Jagang Province of the DPRK as a new appearance of socialist countryside, which is being radically changed day by day under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Low- and single-storied and terraced dwelling houses with unique refinement, modernity and architectural beauty have been built on the bank of the picturesque Jangja River in harmony with the trees of good species and flowering shrubs. Such new villages show the benevolence of the motherly Party which translates into reality all wishes desired by the people.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on Thursday.

Present there were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, builders and agricultural workers in Songgan County.

Sin Chang Gil, chairman of the Jagang Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory address, and licenses for the use of new houses were handed over to their owners and speeches were made there.

A congratulatory performance and cheerful dancing party were given and officials visited the families of agricultural workers moving into modern dwelling houses to share joy with them. -0-
