Pyongyang, November 1 (KCNA) -- Young people in Pyongyang volunteered to work at major worksites called by the Workers' Party of Korea.

Members of the youth league of the Mangyongdae District Floricultural Station and the extracurricular sports school in Taedonggang District volunteered to work at the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex.

Those in Mangyongdae, Sosong, Phyongchon, Taesong, Tongdaewon, Hyongjesan, Sadong and Sunan districts also volunteered to work at construction brigades and road management offices.

Attending the congratulatory meeting on Oct. 31 were officials of the youth league, youth and students.

The certificates of petition were awarded to the volunteers and a congratulatory address was made to be followed by speeches.

An art performance was given to congratulate the volunteers.

Youth and students encouraged the volunteers leaving for their new revolutionary posts, giving them bouquets. -0-
