Born into a poor farmer's family, she keenly experienced the sorrow of being a member of a stateless nation and a peasant with no land. After Korea's liberation she could have her own land and contribute to building a prosperous country with increased grain production.
During the Fatherland Liberation War, she took the lead in the struggle to supply much more rice to the front. After the war she devoted herself to the grain production and brought her children up well to work hard for the country. -0-
