Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- The ten best agricultural counties and the 30 best farms for 2025 were selected in the DPRK.

True to the programme for the rural revolution in the new era, the ten best agricultural counties and the 30 best farms took the lead in all aspects, including introducing advanced farming methods and technology, putting agriculture on a IT basis, constructing irrigations and increasing the proportion of mechanization, thus decisively augmenting the grain production.

Selected as the ten best agricultural counties were Mangyongdae District, Kangnam, Sukchon and Yomju counties, Songnim City, Yonggwang, Hamju, Hwadae, Onsong and Onchon counties. And selected as the 30 best farms were the Songnam Farm in Rangnang District, Yakjon and Chaeryong farms in Sukchon County, Phungjong Farm in Jungsan County, Manhung Farm in Mundok County, Maejon Farm in Phyongwon County, Naejung and Namap farms in Yomju County, Ilhae Farm in Jongju City, Jangsan Farm in Ryongchon County, Samjigang Farm in Jaeryong County, Yokgudo Farm in Paechon County, Inpho Farm in Songnim City, Township Farm in Janggang County, Pumin Farm in Hamhung City, Sangjung Farm in Yonggwang County, Honam Farm in Jongphyong County, Chonghae Farm in Pukchong County, Township Farm in Hwadae County, Ilhyang Farm in Kyongsong County, Wangjaesan Farm in Onsong County, Saphyong Farm in Kapsan County, Chaeryon Farm in Phanmun District, Chongsan Farm in Kangso District, Kangson Farm in Chollima District and Namjong Farm under the South Hwanghae Provincial Rural Economy Committee. -0-
