Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, are conducting colorful extracurricular activities during the winter vacation.
Many schoolchildren have visited the Sci-Tech Complex and the Natural History Museum.
They are cultivating their ambition to become scientists and inventors while acquiring many-sided knowledge including basic knowledge of computer and finding necessary data through lectures and IT service at the Sci-tech Complex.
At the Natural History Museum, schoolchildren are consolidating what they learned at school through the argument with each other over exhibits and specimens of animals and plants at the hall showing animal ecology, children's study and experience room and other places.
The Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace and the Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Palace are full of joy and optimism of the happy schoolchildren who are displaying talents to their heart's content at sports and art groups according to their aptitude and hopes.
Happy looks of schoolchildren can be seen at the bases for cultural and leisure activities in different parts of the capital city.
