New Houses Built in Rural Area of North Hamgyong Province

Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- According to the grand blueprint for rural rejuvenation unfolded by the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea, the entities of socialist civilization have risen up in different parts of the DPRK, adding to the joy of the agricultural workers who greeted the autumn of good harvest.

Modern dwelling houses built in Chilhyang-ri, Orang County, North Hamgyong Province, this year are associated with the great benevolence of the Party Central Committee which gives prominence to the patriotic loyalty of the agricultural workers defending the Party and the revolution with increased grain production and shows deep loving care for them.

Present at the ceremony of moving into new houses held on the spot were Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in the county.

Pak Myong Ho, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an address at the ceremony. Then licenses for the use of new houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.

A congratulatory performance was given and moving into new houses began amid the cheerful peasant music.

Officials, builders and agricultural workers congratulated the owners of the new houses and shared joy with them in the new villages in a festive mood. -0-
