Farmers in DPRK Move into New Houses

Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- Modern houses of diverse and unique styles have been built in Yonggo-ri of Sinhung County and Pulgunbyol-ri of Hamju County, South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK. Those houses afford the living conditions and convenience for the inhabitants.

In the two areas, there took place ceremonies of moving into new houses.

Present there were officials of the Party and power organs of the province and the two counties, builders and agricultural workers who would move into their new houses. Congratulatory speeches were made at the ceremonies.

Licenses for the use of houses were handed over to be followed by speeches.

As art performances and dancing parties were given amid the great joy of people enjoying a new highly civilized life under the benevolence of the Workers' Party, the villages were in a festive mood.

Listening to the farmers' and other residents' impressions, the officials encouraged them to do more for our grateful Party and socialist system.

The people's happy laughter could be heard in the houses where the DPRK flags were flying. -0-
