Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- DPRK schoolchildren gathered at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on December 16 to tell stories about the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il's noble virtues on the occasion of the 14th anniversary of his demise.
The storytellers praised the undying feats of Kim Jong Il who brightly illuminated the road ahead of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) in each period of the developing revolution and trained the schoolchildren to be stalwart successors and reserves of the cause of the Juche revolution.
They said that in his middle school days the Generalissimo instilled into schoolchildren the firm faith in the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung and led them to be true sons and daughters and reliable pillars of the country who firmly trust and follow him.
They said that Kim Jong Il made ceaseless journeys for the revolutionary leadership, taking short and uncomfortable sleep and eating rice-balls, and spared nothing for the students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, adding that his loving care and benevolence are kept in the school's history and in the hearts of the children of revolutionary martyrs.
They said that the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un is the benevolent father of the KCU members across the country as he sets the work for the younger generation as the foremost state affair and the most important affair and puts his heart and soul into the work for the bright laughter and happiness of schoolchildren.
Present at the meeting were officials of the youth league and schoolchildren in Pyongyang. -0-
