Pyongyang, May 12 (KCNA) -- Tens of young people in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK have volunteered for difficult and labor-consuming posts.

Some of them volunteered to work at socialist countryside out of the desire to reap a good harvest in the agricultural province every year.

In order to bring earlier the new era of regional transformation, some others advanced into county construction brigades and raw materials bases.

A meeting was held in Haeju City on May 11 to congratulate the volunteers.

Present there were officials concerned, youth league officials, youth and students. Petition certificates were conferred on the volunteers. And then a congratulatory speech and resolution-making speeches were made.

Officials, youth and students encouraged the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them and putting garlands around their necks. -0-
