Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The children in the DPRK greeted the June 1 International Children's Day with great joy.
Nurseries, kindergartens, baby homes and orphanages across the country were crowded with children, nursery school and kindergarten teachers and parents.
Art performances, colorful folk games and sports and amusement games of children took place at nurseries and kindergartens in Pyongyang.
The children's gymnastics, dancing and songs added joys to the holiday.
Amid the enthusiastic cheers of the spectators, the children played various sports and amusement games including toy picking, cock fight, etc.
The children in the other parts of the country, too, enjoyed holidays.
Commercial service establishments, parks and pleasure grounds across the country were full of laughter of the children spending a pleasant and cheerful time with their parents. -0-
