Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- Jagang Province in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the work to spruce up the appearance of Kanggye City, the provincial seat.

It has conducted the work for remodeling the exterior walls of apartment houses, planting turf around roads, repainting external building walls and creating landscape in the city.

The city is changing its appearance day by day amid the detailed organizational work of the province for supplying materials and the growing enthusiasm of the officials and working people to build their streets and villages by their own efforts. -0-
