Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- The DPRK reliable young vanguard significantly greeted the Youth Day (August 28) amid the blessings of the people across the country.

Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, Ri Hi Yong, Jo Chun Ryong, Kim Tok Hun and Choe Tong Myong, secretaries of the WPK Central Committee, and other senior Party and government officials visited the Sangwon Cement Complex, the Chollima Steel Complex and other industrial establishments, grand construction sites and universities in different parts of the country on Thursday to congratulate the young people on their holiday.

At the construction sites of the Sinuiju General Greenhouse Farm and 10 000 flats at the fourth stage in the Hwasong area, the senior officials of the Party and government encouraged the young builders who are performing feats with their stubborn and vigorous efforts.

The senior officials requested all the young builders to glorify their wonderful lives for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people.

At industrial establishments, scientific research bases and universities, the senior officials met the young innovators, young scientists and exemplary university students to congratulate them.

Being told about the positive deeds, beautiful virtues and traits displayed by young people, the senior officials called upon all the young people to make a genuine contribution to further glorifying the new era of the Juche revolution.

The senior officials enjoyed art performances together with young people and took part in colorful cultural events including sports and amusement games.
